Himanshu is currently working with the Planning Commission as a project leader, engaged in rolling out India Energy Security Scenarios tool, 2047. This tool, is the first crowd sourced tool that is aimed at indicating energy import independence pathways for the country by 2047, marking 100 years of India’s independence. Having worked with Mr. B.k.Chaturvedi and Mr. Anil Jain during his tenure at the Planning Commission, he has already authored a chapter in the 12th Fiver Year Plan of India, at the age of 24, probably becoming the youngest in the planning Commission to have contributed to the five year plan process.
