Hot Seat with Pablo Brait
Pablo Brait is a community organiser and political campaigner who has been focused on fighting climate change since 2007 when he co-founded local community group Yarra Climate Action Now. He has held various positions since then at Beyond Zero Emissions, The Sunrise Project, Nature Conservation Council of NSW and is currently a campaigner at Market Forces, an organisation dedicated to stopping the flow of money, via the finance sector, to fossil fuel projects and companies.
He has been a part of the recently successful campaigns to convince Westpac, Comm Bank and four Chinese banks to rule out lending to the Adani Carmichael coal project and led the campaign which ended with Medibank Private committing to divest from fossil fuels.
