Marianne Robinson is a member of the Voices of the Valley. The Voices of the Valley is a community based group from Morwell, that is working towards a transition plan for the Latrobe Valley. She retired as a teaching sociologist from the Monash University Gippsland in 2006. She is involved with the Voices of the Valley since the Hazelwood mine fire in 2014, presented evidence to the Hazelwood mine fire inquiry and has been active in various Latrobe community groups since she settled in the Latrobe Valley in the 1970s.
