Nathan Kirby is Western Power’s lead for grid transformation activities in delivering the ETS, with his team supporting delivery of Western Power’s component of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Roadmap implementation; Development of limit advices for Security Constrained Economic Dispatch and Whole of System Plan.
Nathan graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2001 with Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical with First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Corporate Finance) degrees. He has also completed a Master of Engineering Science at Curtin University, and is a Chartered Professional Engineer on the National Engineers Register. He has over 19 years’ experience in the Australian and international power industry, which has included engineering leadership, design, planning, operations and field roles across utility and consulting businesses.
